Apprentice’s Wing Walkthrough

The first academy interior. Sadness waits in the Amphitheater of Tears shortly after this wing.

Story Purpose

The first academy interior. Sadness waits in the Amphitheater of Tears shortly after this wing.

This page covers the main route only. Collectible counts and the full post-story sweep stay on the Collectibles page.

Route

  1. Follow the objective into the apprentice halls.
  2. Clear the wing as you move through.
  3. Continue toward the Amphitheater of Tears.
  4. Use the platform break after Sadness as a heal window.

Sadness Boss Fight

Sadness fights in the Amphitheater of Tears. Stay on the outer ring during sweeps and use the platform segments to close distance. It uses the same 75/50/25 structure as earlier bosses.

Read the full fight notes on the Bosses page, and use the area list on Worlds if you need the path order.

Climb the vertical planks, then dash onto the ledge with the exit.
