Duskfade Length: How Long Is the Full Game?
Expect roughly 15-20 hours if you explore for secrets, based on a developer estimate. A separate official FAQ says about 16 hours for all collectibles and achievements, while an outside story-only estimate is 8-10 hours.
Duskfade time estimates
The strongest broad estimate is 15-20 hours, depending on how many secrets a player pursues. It comes from developer Jordi de Paco in an interview reported by Gamereactor in June 2026. Weird Beluga’s later official FAQ gives a closely related figure of roughly 16 hours to obtain all collectibles and achievements.
For a story-focused playthrough, TheGamersJoint estimated 8-10 hours and 15 or more for all collectibles. That is an outside estimate rather than a developer promise, so use it as a planning range, not an exact finish time.
Why the numbers are different
The estimates measure different goals. A player following the main route can finish sooner than someone searching for every collectible, achievement, and secret. Familiarity with 3D platformers, missed jumps, optional exploration, and boss retries can also change the clock.
Other collected previews proposed 12-15 hours or described the adventure as approximately 20 hours. Those figures fit inside the wider discussion but do not use one consistent completion standard. Until a larger body of player data exists, separating story and completion scopes is more useful than averaging them together.
What a walkthrough runtime proves
A recorded 100% walkthrough from ProsafiaGaming runs for 13:28:03, with the chapter completion shown shortly before the end. It demonstrates that all recorded objectives can fit inside that video length, but it does not represent ordinary first-play pacing. Edited navigation, player skill, menus, and repeated attempts all affect the comparison.
HowLongToBeat had too few recorded completions in the collected research to support a stable community average. Its future average is Pending confirmation and may shift significantly as more players submit times.
Planning your playthrough
Budget 8-10 hours only if your goal is primarily the story and you accept an independent estimate. Budget 15-20 hours when you plan to explore thoroughly, with roughly 16 hours serving as the developer FAQ’s completion reference. A true first run may fall outside either band depending on difficulty and play style.
The free sample is much shorter and officially described as over one hour. It does not transfer progress to the full game, so demo time should be added separately rather than subtracted from your expected release playthrough.
