Mount Cinder Walkthrough

The volcano climb where timed traversal begins to matter. Wrath waits just before the ascent at Howling Geode.

Story Purpose

The volcano climb where timed traversal begins to matter. Wrath waits just before the ascent at Howling Geode.

This page covers the main route only. Collectible counts and the full post-story sweep stay on the Collectibles page.

Route

  1. Follow the climbing route up the volcano.
  2. Use dash and grapple chains on the timed sections.
  3. Before the mountain, pause at Howling Geode for Wrath.
  4. Grab route items only on the first visit; there is no need to farm here.

Wrath Boss Fight

Wrath at Howling Geode is the first real multi-phase fight. Learn the platform break, recover during it, and keep moving during the sweep attacks.

Read the full fight notes on the Bosses page, and use the area list on Worlds if you need the path order.

Grind the rail along the wall, then jump to the next rail before the drop.
